For Vanilla, Pepper and Blueberry, you can split your old BLUE version stack and when split they change to purple. You'll end up losing 1 of each stack but still better than nothing - for example if you have 543 blue vanilla, split the stack by 542. The 1 blue will remain but the rest that you split will turn purple.

You don't have to do that. Just mail it to yourself and when you put it in your backpack it turns to the right color.
