DirectX 11 to DirectX 9 help

I wanna change my DirectX 11 to DirectX 9 ingame so my game won't crash anymore, but when I changed it ingame and tried to open the game again it didn't start, until I went into documents and changed r_driver to dx 11 again, so now I'm crashing again.

Anyone got a solution?

Directx 11 is not what is causing the crashing.
If you system can't open with dx9 then their is a fault wothin your systems dx9 and it cannot be used to run the game

Well what I've found on google is that DirectX11 crashes a lot of peoples game, and DirectX 9 should work because I can play games with DirectX 12 on, but if you have a solution to why I can't open the game with DirectX 9 then please enlighten me
