i played live at launch but only for about a month and a half so dont know much about the game but i was wondering if its worth returning and playing here? is there alot of activity? will i get destroyed in pvp because of low gear or will i beable to catch up in gear quickly?

I played on live for a month or two before the 3.0 patch dropped. Came to ArcheRage with a bit of experience and hit the grind hard over the past 5 weeks or so.
I just hit 4.2k gear score and can contend with some 5k's on a good day. The community is almost always there to answer your questions and there's a number of guilds to take you in. Don't expect to catch up without putting in the time but with the servers multipliers you can do in 1 month what would take 4 months on live.
