Just add a hard to get drop from Kraken that is equiv to T7 rather an a T6 mat and everyone will be happy again. Perhaps even have kraken periodically drop tentacle packs during the fight to give more incentive to stay longer hours, which would intern give people more reason to pirate.

The only reason I can think of to do this would be psychological. They essentially reduce the number one killer of quitting the game through failures by increasing peoples success while not killing the market. Outside of that it really doesn't make sense what they did.

What about lowering the world boss spawn timers? Make it a bit harder for people to time it and increase content for things to do, and most all world bosses don't have good drops anyways so it wouldn't really effect the market.

Have crafting prices for obsidian T6 weapons ever been looked at? Currently a scepter needs an Ink Sack while the most OP weapon a Nodachi requires a compass? That's like a 30k difference and that's only if they're being sold. Why is this a thing? Mages are locked out.

Buffs to anything like this should be done through crafting. Meaning fishing gets you specific crafting materials at a good rate that other areas struggle with. For instance make fishing the main resource for farming Brines for the regrades, purse farming doesn't need brines like they are...

Sure you can, not going to say how, but you can avoid being pulled out of the dock in a merchant. If you have 2 people you can unload too.
