i got the rustic wooden pavilion and trying to upgrade to the Prime Rustic Wooden Plateau Pavilion.. it will give me the message "no line of sight.".... can these not be upgraded

Do the Gembloom petals have any actual use. I could not find any and they are taking up space in my bags.
