Dear ArcheRagers!

Feel free to use this thread to discuss the next global update that will be installed on our server soon - "Legends Return".

For more details about the changes related to 4.5 global update follow the
[LINK].
That Patch Notes include only the basic information and all the custom updates and changes will be posted separately at a later date.

When do you estimate custom changes to be released, and when do you estimate the release of 4.5?

New gear type - Hiram Guardian gear is now available. Hiram Guardian gear is a brand new type of gear that drops in Diamond Shores, Golden Ruins, Nuimari, Heedmar, Marcala, and Calmlands. This gear is equivalent in power to the Epherium tier, and is a new way for players to progress their statistics without jumping into regrading. This gear begins at the Grand grade with three random statistics, costs 60 labor to identify, caps at the Celestial tier, and binds on pickup. These items also cannot be Evenstoned, and cannot be tempered.

Can you confirm whether we get celestial or divine as max grade for hiram ?

Shouldn't it be tier 1 ? So celestial would be the max

T1 is maximum Celestial.
The patch also includes T2 which caps at divine. This is from Phase 4
5.0 for T3 epic and so on

Hiram
Leave Hiram as it is implemented in to the original 4.5 patch. No cap, no price change, nothing at all. If you gut hiram early on, you’d be screwing yourself over for every patch in the future of Archeage. It’s not even that OP, and it’ll do much more good than harm.

Obsidian
Remove it from the game. At least the upgrade paths, just follow the steps of live. Instead of divine t5 obsidian, make the support pack give Hiram Infusions, and a few base unsealed weapons.

Skill Changes
CHANGE THEM. Shake up the meta. We’ve been playing the exact same archeage for the past 2 years since this server came up, with minor changes in meta. Besides, not changing them now would probably lead to huge complications in the future.

Note- Go through with the stat changes

Guild Changes
Keep the cap at 100.

Dragon Mount
Add it. It’s not insanely overpowered and it gives players something to work for.

Misc Changes
Keep faction chat.
Keep crime points at 10 per kill, 1 per assault.
Invisibility cooldown: Change to 5 seconds, using immune gliders/mounts is a massive part of PVP, and makes the skill ceiling higher.

World Boss System
DO NOT ADD FRIENDLY BOSSES. This kills a lot of open world PVP and even XL goes back on their decision to add this and removes it in a future patch.

Will abyssal skills still be present by default in the coming patch?

Additionally, will these weapon updates be applied? https://omnom.gg/may-overview/

Top two things that need to go:

Infamy gain has been increased. Larceny now grants 5 Infamy (up from 1), Assault grants 5 Infamy (up from 1), and Murder grants 50 Infamy (up from 10.)

• The guild membership cap has been adjusted and lowered as follows. If a guild is over the cap, all members remain in the guild but new members cannot be added until the guild membership falls under the cap.
◦ Level 1 - 30 Members
◦ Level 2 - 35 Members
◦ Level 3 - 40 Members
◦ Level 4 - 45 Members
◦ Level 5, 6, 7, and 8 - 50 Members
• Due to Guild Cap changes, the minimum number of guild members required to bid on a siege scroll is 40.

Skill changes are good. Death to DRs.

Remove -> Added an Invincibility Limit rule: When Invincibility is triggered, a new Invincibility Prevention debuff begins and lasts 15 seconds. While this buff is active, the character cannot receive any other Invincibility buff and cannot use any skill that grants Invincibility/Immunity. or replace it's cooldown to 3 seconds.
Next patch will be full of one shots & just pure CC locks, let's make it at least playable.

Something I'd like to open discussion on from the get go: the cost of t3 lunagems.

By default the recipe for a T3 Lunagem = 1x Sealed T2 Lunagem + 50x Superior "Type"glow Lunarite + 30x Sturdy Ingots

T2 Lunagems are pretty expensive as is at 20x "Type"glow Lunarite each.

Using 7day average prices as of 5:11 PM EST 1/31/20:
50x Fireglow: (46g each) = 2300g
50x Waveglow: (2g each) = 100g
50x Galeglow: (22g each) = 1100g
50x Sunglow: (68g each) = 3400g
50x Earthglow: (65g each) = 3250g
50x Copperglow: (63g each) = 3150g

The aforementioned figures solely encompass the approximate lunarite costs from advancing a gem from T2 -> T3, assuming you already have the T2 and 30x sturdy ingots.

Based on these costs, it's probably fair to say that full gemming is out of reach for many players. A full kit of T3 gems will likely costs more gold than the very armor (maybe not weapons) they are being socketed into, not to mention the raw gold cost of socketing. I could also delve into speculation about how this crazy demand for T3 gem lunarite will also drive the individual prices of lunarite up (resulting in even higher costs), but that is beside the point as these costs at current prices are already quite high.

Ex: T3 Earthglow Lunagem: Resilience gives 528 resilience, lots of players will have to make an entire set of earthglow gems from scratch due to being full gemmed with the old honor (now kyrios badge) 480 resilience gems.

My proposition is to simply reduce the cost of the T2 -> T3 upgrade recipe from 50x Superior "Type"glow Lunarite to 30x Superior "Type"glow Lunarite. In conclusion, the T2 -> T3 upgrade would still be more expensive than a T2 itself, but not absurdly costly.

Pls pls pls don't add the dragon mount, it killed PvP imo.
Don't change crime points system.
Don't change guild member cap.
Don't change jury to anonymous jury, don't change their chat perms.
Don't remove faction chat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fucking chat got so boring with that change.
Don't change ayanad earring/dreamring stuff.
Don't change timers on faction statues.
Don't require lunagems to be resealed for auction.
Don't change Obsidian gear!!!!! >.> Don't start the beginning of the end, ty.
Don't add labor to synthesis, it's already expensive as it is, let us keep labor for gold making. It might seem small, 20 labor per, but for hiram gear+costums+underwear+dungeon gear it's... A lot.
Don't decrease charcoal from Golden Ruins cargo.
Don't decrease the drops from metallic crates/ auroran crates.. ;-;

Want to keep health regen stat for spirit.
Also, shortening conflict time is great.
Keep the reworked TWT.
Keep the craft request system.

Side note: Daruda and Zaldrane already got moved :x

Not sure about DS timer changes, my first feeling is pls no.. but idk... maybe its nice to have more OC? xD just can't grind for hours on end anymore like it is possible to now.

I sincerely hope for this patch the admins take more into account of what is said in this thread than for 4.0.......................

Not only was it shit expensive to craft, also it was hard to get the lunarite in the first place with the "reworked" crates. I hope they will adjust that to something better.

just i would like to know wut these customs changes about , So we can change our build or even our class .
Custom changes are made based of the the players input to remove/edit things added in 4.5 that the population might not like. They will be posted with the final version of the patch notes.

Oh I forgot one thing..
Can the skill buffs that last for 30min now, stay for 30min? Like health lift, for example.
