Dear ArcheRagers!
We are glad to inform you that currently we are actively working on 9.0 “The Great Prairie of the West” global update.

In this thread you can share your thoughts on the update as well as provide the ideas and suggestions you have.
You can find 9.0 global update patch notes HERE.

Note: custom part of the patch notes hasn’t been included into the patch notes yet. Custom updates will be posted a bit later!

Estimate release time: end of September

This thread will remain open until 9.0 release, so you can use it for any discussion related to this global update.
 
The Exile System was revamped
The condition for accepting Exile quests was changed from 100 Previous Leadership points to 1000 points.

Suggestion
This change on live was not a good one as it was catered to Korea where they had issues of people exiling to pirate to hold pirate hero slots on their alt account. This change only makes it harder for people who want to exile to play with their preferred faction/friends. How it currently is on the server, if people on the stronger faction wanted to exile, they should/would. Making it harder to do so will make it unenjoyable for the casual player.

Changed the effect of “Dahuta Bubble.”
The existing “Dahuta Bubble” was replaced by the new “Tear of Duhata” as its use negatively affected the battle (such as being able to breath underwater unlimitedly with “Dahuta’s Bubble” let the battle drag on)


Suggestion
With water fights being one of the many things to do on this game and something that rarely happen in the first place, the change on live made it very unenjoyable. When the change hit, you have to pop a bubble every time you died and there was a cooldown for it. Keeping Dahuta’s Bubble the way it is would be better for the player base. Not a single player on live liked the change when it happened.

Decreased the Synthesis Material XP of the Destructive Grudge equipment obtainable through crafting
The Synthesis Material XP of the items you already own remains the same

Suggestion
Don’t make the change here. The destructive grudge method of wb exp makes it so there’s two different paths you can take for feeding a world boss gear. When it was taken out, there was only one method of feeding world boss gear. Having options is better.
 
Please reconsider nerfing Dahuta's Bubble and Mermaid's Breath. We all thought XL was fairly stupid for doing that move. We're not going to be impressed to see that same stupidity implemented on a supposedly "better" server. It totally invalidated the effort our guild put into ensuring that everyone had that Earring.
 
exile system

this system should be changed to what live servers had at the end. people should be able to pick and choose whichever faction they want to be in, of course at a cost - either put exile tickets on AH to make people spend gold or put the quests in freedich to give the exile ticket for honor or whatever else you feel comfortable doing but it has to be done. currentt exile system has too many flaws in itself, the biggest proof is even XL changed it. and no, it wasn't an event due to server closure you can check live KR servers.

c'mon, really? this change only makes water pvp so much worse than it usually is for a lot of people. adding more cost is just gonna drive people away from the activity.

destructive grudge

there's no need to nerf the grudge exp. essentially you're just widening the gap between old and newer players due to the increased cost to make expensive items even more expensive. world boss items shouldnt be exclusive for the 1% extremely rich, and this is what this change does, essentially.

occultism nerf for healers

absolutely unnecessary. it just kills doombringer, theres nothing else to add here.

events should never overlap eachother. there should be a talk about the new timers for garden anth, invasion and prairie
 
This change was made because of the change to Dahuta's bubbles. Please reject it as well, as it is very helpful for family/guild etc to be able to make use of the bathtub for the fishing buff. Thanks!
  • Taking a Bubble Bath in the Mermaid Bathtub will not consume materials anymore.
    • Bubble Bath is only available to the house owner.
 
Mend under the effects of Pain harvest nerf:

Please do not introduce this change as it absolutely destroys Doombringer which is one of the few viable healer classes right now. By issuing this nerf the overall healer class flexibility is reduced. A lot of people really love this class and would hate to see it go.

Like a couple have stated, introducing this nerf, destroys the Doombringer class. A lot of people are running this class and are having fun with it. It would only leave a couple of viable classes in situations.

Gl with your efforts to negate this change, but I have generally not seen them change anything to legacy skill changes, unfortunately.
 
Please make it possible to use the rb set's special skill without awakening it, or make getting the midpoint to awaken it more accessible.

We do not custom balance skills at all. We keep them as are for that patch
