Are more updates planned?

I know the servers have just been updated to 3.0b but are there more updates planned for the privates server like 3.5 and possibly 4.0? I know those patches have brought things that people have liked on the live servers but also disliked. If these patches come is there a chance that they could be modified to the liking of the player base?

We are working on multiple custom updates currently. No dates or any further confirmations on later game versions (3.5, etc) are available at the moment. Server just updates to 3.0b, so it's too early to speak about later versions
We'll make sure to let players know about further versions updates prior the actual updates, so players would have enough time to discuss.
