Can not use old gems on bow [solved/Explained]

Hi.

Please say this is not intended ?
I can not put in old gems like the Lucid Gale Lunagem: Torrent on a bow, even thos it worked before 4.0 and it still says it can be put into Ranged Weapons

What bow are you trying to use it for?

You cannot use T3 gems on that bow. It is a level 40 bow and only accepts T1 and T2

Oh, my bad then. I did not think that was a limit as it is stated as 40 to 7

Yes that is the level to use the bow. And you can see on the gem minimum gear level is 50

Just to make it easier to understand, the gems specify the minimum level stat of the gear they can be used on, so for lvl50+ gem you have to have gear that has minimum lvl50+, eg u can't put lvl 50 gem into gear that can be used before level 50 if that makes sense
