Should Dgs Be Nerfed?

The community thats been playing the game for the length of it largely disagrees, if its a programming issue its totally understandable and we get that but if you can please do anything to lessen the impact the delphinad ships have on the game as to keep the server alive for as long as possible.
My thoughts exactly.
 
Guys, we have revisited your concerns. From our standpoint, there is not supposed to be any problems with DGS due to our x2 drop rate and increased amount of gold.
That having been said, getting 3k gold per kill will not have a significant impact on the game balance. Plus, in order to destroy DGS you need to be very good in farming, build your own ships, having at least tens of people in your guild, etc.
With all due respect, IronLady, while what you say may be true for other regions, the fact of the matter is that the ArcheAge scene is at its most competitive in the North American region and our guilds and even individual leaders have vast experience handling the end-game content this game has to offer.

We understand that, by upgrading the value of DGS kills, you wanted to reward the guilds playing on the Russian server, but we guarantee you that it is the opposite for us; the people talking to you here, arguing in favor of a drastic reduction in gold per DGS kill are doing so because we are the ones who are the most likely to benefit from DGS kills and we can tell you, with certainty, that we do not need that extra gold to get ahead, as it further widens the gap between the top guilds and the rest of the server.

We, humbly, ask that you reconsider your position on this matter. We can tell you, from experience, that keeping DGS the way they are (or having them pay more) is not the way to go, as it'll increase the gear gap between the top guild(s) and the others.

You are overestimating how powerfull the DGS is, a DGS can be done with 5 players on a decent boat, and only one of them whos killing banshees actually need to be geared. If you say you can't make DGS changes because of coding issues, thats one thing, but claim that they do not affect the economy its just wrong. There are many guild leaders here like me who farmed DGS for a long time and know how much a joke a dgs uncontested can be.

This is absolutely true
 
You want your server to die in under 2 months, because this is how you kill it. Please listen to your player base if you want a healthy server.
