Farming and Pelts

So, I'm wanting to increase my leatherworking skill. Is the link (i.e. wiki) below still accurate? Because I tried lamb and only got 10 pelt each.

Did you feed it first? And tbh if you wanna grind pelt, do cow or buffalo depending on the climate. The yield is good.

If short on money focus turkeys cuz you only need ground grain to feed and time is a lot shorter.

For me the problem with pelt is that the price of cows and buffalo were unnecessarily jacked up a while back. I hoarded thousands before the price increase which made crafting my leather Ayanad set much cheaper, but with current prices, farming pelt is just too expensive.

Buffalo is best for Pelt. And you can sell the Trimmed Meat to a vendor

Prices for everything increased, not just cows and buffalos.
