Following in the good spirit of the gladiator tournament on sundays upcoming. Hero Brewing Company, the makers of the finest Barley Moonshine will be sponsoring a real skill event....
The rules are simple:
Disorderly Conduct will make up all packs for you. No materiel is needed on your part.
Duels located in Lilyut, on the road in front of the company houses.
Smackerel (8 GS), no other items.
Darkrunner is the only true spec.
Stealth is allowed.
No magic damage, only melee based abilities.
No pots or buffs other than self buffs from the Darkrunner class.
Each combatant will be wearing one Lilyut Barley Moonshine cask on their back.
Winners of each duel, best of 3 will win the pack on their back and one freighter load (8 additional) trade packs for their effort and continue on the earn more packs per set as a reward. With the same pack on their back they started with.
Losers will get the keep the pack on their back as a reward each duel set lost.
Lose two sets of duels of best of three and you are eliminated from the tournament.
Best of three: Most of the matches played in our leagues are best of three tie-break sets. That means that the winner of the match is the first playing to win two sets. If "player A" wins set one and set two, the match is over.
Example 1:
Duel set 1
Driveby wins round 1 vs Drunkenhero
Driveby wins round 2 vs Drunkenhero
Winner duel set 1 and a load of packs. Back plus 8 packs.
Driveby loses next two sets of duels and is eliminated. He keeps that same pack on his back and his 8 in a hauler.
Example 2:
Duel set 1
Driveby wins round 1 vs Drunkenhero
Driveby wins round 2 vs Drunkenhero
Winner duel set 1 and a load of packs. Back plus 8 packs, 9 total.
Duel set 2
Driveby wins round 1 vs Johnblack
Johnblack wins round 2 vs Driveby
Driveby wins round 3 vs Johnblack
Driveby wins an additional 8 packs for 17 total.
Duel set 3 Driveby wins 8 additional packs for 26 total.
Driveby loses 2 sets of duels and is eliminated his total haul is 26 packs.
The initial matches will tier up with more interest at a later date.
All packs will be tallied and covered if you do not have a group to help you haul it. I can store them for up to a week. The bracket will be expanded in the future if there is interest. I think it would be humorous and it was actually pretty fun tonight with no rewards when messing around with it.
If there is interest sign up with a reply and I will make a list and announce a date for the matches.
