The reply to your question is in the server rules. Please check them if you didn't do it before, as when you created the account, you agreed to the server rules.
If you check the rules, you'll see that bans for macros are temporary bannable, especially if that's a first time players was detected in using macros.

25. Excessive Macros exploit in the game will cause 48-hours ban. If player is detected in using Macros 2nd time or further it may lead to extended ban time or even result to permanent ban.

Of course, if macros is set as a bot, it's a bot and can't go under macros rule.

Why not just delete the offending itemS from game entirely, no compensation for players who purchased them.
Or even just remove completely the skill/feature of the glider to give invuln., you can keep your decorative glider now...

Since there is no fix that will make anyone satisfied, better that no one is allowed to have it at all.
