Settings not saving bug

I'm not finding a thread on this, though I'm sure there is one somewhere. My chat and screen settings aren't saving. Every time I switch between characters on my account, or start the game, I have to redo everything. What's the fix for this?

Hit escape when you close your game and close out from there. Sometimes this fixes this issue for awhile. This has been a known bug that effects some players since the beginning of the game.

You can also clear the folder with settings as old settings may conflict with your new ones. Go to C:\ArcheAge\Documents and remove folder’s content (ctrl+A -> delete).
After that start the game, save settings you want, close the game and restart it again.
