Every 2 weeks lands of Auroria go through the Sieges cycle. It includes 3 stages with a start on Wednesday and end on Sunday.

Stage 1. Bidding (Wed-Fr): Guilds bid on the castles siege scroll. Whoever wins bidding and purchases this scroll gains the ability to declare a siege upon a castle.
Stage 2. Declaration (Sat-Sun): Guild that has a castles siege scroll can declare a siege.
Stage 3. Castle Siege (Sunday): Attackers and defenders meet in the battle for the castle.

To participate in the sieges, a guild should meet the following requirements:
  1. Have not less than 30 guild members.
  2. Be in Top 30 (Guild Ranking List) *
  3. Have Guild Level 5 or higher.
  4. Stay in Top 30 list and have not less than 30 members in the guild within 8 days prior and after each sieges stage. Following conditions are checked daily, within mentioned 8 days. For example, for sieges stage1 (bidding), that are 8 days from Wednesday till Wednesday, both included. More detailed explanations on the guilds checking system for attackers and defenders you can find below **.
  5. Guild can't own more than 1 castle. If your guild is already owning a castle, you can participate in the sieges only as a defender of your own castle and can't bid on the siege scroll or declare siege.

* Requirements for the guild to stay in top of the Guild Ranking List:
  • If the guild doesn't obtain required amount of EXP within 1 week (from Monday till Sunday), guild is going to be removed from the Ranking list for the next week. If the guild gains needed amount next week - it returns back to the Ranking list.
  • Guild needs to gain the following amount of EXP within a week if it wants to stay in the Ranking list next week:
    • level 1 - 500 EXP
    • level 2 - 1000 EXP
    • level 3 - 1500 EXP
    • level 4 - 2000 EXP
    • level 5 - 2500 EXP
    • level 6 - 3000 EXP
    • level 7 - 3500 EXP
    • level 8 - 4000 EXP

** What the guild needs to remember to avoid failing siege checks:
  1. For Attackers:
    • As you are planning to participate in the sieges as an attacking guild, you'll need to take part in all 3 sieges stages and so, stay in top 30 and have at least 30 guild members within 8 days from stage1 (bidding) start, so that is from Wednesday (a non-siege week) until Wednesday (a siege week). Your guild will be checked during each sieges stage (daily checks, 8 days prior the stage start/end), so that is bidding start (Wed-Wed), bidding end (Fr-Fr), declaration start (Sat-Sat), declaration end (Sun-Sun), castle sieges (Sun-Sun).
    • If your guild fails Stage1 Bidding checks at the bidding start (Wed) - guild can't participate in the auction. If guild fails any next auction bidding day after (Thu-Thu or Fri-Fri) - guild automatically fails bidding, receives its funds back and can't participate in the current sieges any longer. In such a case we can have 3 scenarios:
      • Guild is removed from bidding and another guild that was bidding on the same castle wins. Defenders don't participate in this stage, so they are not checked.
      • Guild was the only one bidding, so as it's removed there is no attacking party and that means bidding is the last sieges stage for this castle, as there will be no declaration or castle sieges stages. In such a case, defenders are checked at the end of the bidding stage:
        • If there is no attacking side present or it's removed as failed bidding stage, and the guild owning the castle doesn't meet the requirements, then castle disappears and territory of the castle becomes ownerless.
        • If attacking side doesn't meet the requirements and defending guild meets them, then castle owner doesn't change.
    • If your guild fails Stage2 Declarationchecks (Sat-Sat or Sun-Sun) - guild is automatically removed from castle sieges. In such a case, as this is the last sieges stage for this castle, as there will be no castle siege stage, defending guild is checked at the end of declaration stage and we can have 2 scenarios:
      • If attacking side doesn't meet the requirements and defending guild meets them, then castle owner doesn't change.
      • If attacking sides and defending side both don't meet the requirements then territory becomes ownerless.
    • If your guild fails Stage3 Castle Siegestage at the sieges start - your guild automatically lose. Then, we can have 2 scenarios:
      • If defending side doesn't meet the requirements then territory becomes ownerless.
      • If defending guild meets the requirements, then castle owner doesn't change.
  2. For Defenders:
    • Your guild will participate only in the last stage of sieges. In most cases last sieges stage is Castle Siege, so you'll be checked only from Sunday (a non-siege week) till Sunday (a siege week), both days included. In such a case, we can have the following scenarios:
      • If you meet the requirements and defend the castle - you keep it.
      • If you meet the requirements but loose a castle in the battle - castle goes to the attackers.
      • If you fail checks - you auto lose the castle. In such a case, if attackers met the requirements - they automatically win.
      • Otherwise, if attacking side and defending sides both don't meet the requirements then territory becomes ownerless.
-- But there are some other scenarios that may happen.
    • If attacking guild failed bidding or nobody was bidding on your castle from the very beginning, then Bidding will be the last stage for your castle and your guild will be checked at the end of the bidding stage. Then one of the following will happen:
      • You meet the requirements - you keep castle.
      • You fail checks - castle disappears and territory of the castle becomes ownerless.
    • If attacking guild failed declaration or decided not to declare, then Declaration will be the last stage for your castle and your guild will be checked at the end of that stage. Then one of the following will happen:
      • You meet the requirements - you keep castle.
      • You fail checks - castle disappears and territory of the castle becomes ownerless.
And remember, you can bid on multiple castles, but at the end you'll win bidding only on one of them. Guild can't have more than 1 castles siege scroll!
