Axis mundi was no longer attainable via haunted chest when it was added to merit shop iirc. I believe Quill confirmed this at some point. I did get axis mundi from a chest sometime around 2.0. Sold it for like 25k or so.

That is one of the problems of this server. It really feels awful sometimes. Even when my ping is about the same as live (it fluctuates ALOT), AR feels much more jittery than live does.

That's not exactly accurate. Prime/archery are very good early game when people don't have tons of toughness and resilience. So unless that 3k is coming from only celestial+ full t3 pvp gemmed pants and shirt, and the archer is using at least a medal bow, prepare to take significant damage...

That's why you don't make it as simple as a rare drop from a purse, bag or safe. There are obvious problems with making them wb-only drops, which is why they should be attainable via some sort of instance as well (ideally something of medium-scale that promotes group work).

In my ideal aa experience, superior charms and lucky points (or maybe partial shards or something) are obtained in the world. Boss drops, (limited) dungeon runs, etc.

I've played aa (successfully) since its launch and am still active on live as well. And no, I don't remember any mage ever thinking it's worth eating the gcd to 'cape swap" while face planted (hello, you already ate 1 gcd shield swapping) or while restealthing using kraken shield. Two gcds...

On live, West is usually more dominant than East (op trade routes tbh) and as a result, east usually dies before West once nations are established. However, the more dominant faction on this server seems to currently be East.

I can name exactly zero respectable staff mages (live) that use the twintail cloak. That is one of the most ridiculous comments I've ever read.
