Okay then it's not the bug I had, restart fixed that one. It doesn't seem like your neighbour's furniture is blocking you from placing either, looking at that screenshot you added, unless there's something that's just outside of it.

It's any type of item you try place? Seeds, bundles, trees, animals, etc?

Doesn't seem that anything is blocking, so possibly that's one of 2:
- invisible textures that are the obstacle
- Stone Grail With Turret decor item your neighbor Kurosatsujin has too close to the border.

Try to contact Kurosatsujin, maybe he can temporary remove or move his Grail, so you could test plant.
