I'm assuming the reasoning behind this is to give those a fair chance to purchase treehouses et cetera? I mean, I have no issue with this at all, but does this confirm donations will be back up and running before castle launch? Thanks and any info would be appreciated.

Been talking with Krowley about that ,it is very possible that is the only reason for castles being postponed, that and antihack shield which can allow for new housing to go smooth.

Easy to assume so, land rush is a very good monetary gain for the server in general, and if they introduce the new antihack (which is hopefully good) then even better.
And no, it doesn't confirm donations will be back up before next weekend, they pushed castles back once and they can do so again.

My thoughts was that the 45 minutes of downtime this morning may be to install an anti-cheat.

If that's the case, they would be real quite about it and ban as many people as possible.
