What's new

Anti-cheat won't fix the problem.

As we know, PC games is full of hackers.. no matter how rich that gaming company is or how well experience the guys that build the anti-cheat is.. THERE WILL BE HACKERS

Theres no stopping hackers finding new ways getting their cheats in, undetected in the new anti-cheat..

But theres also a way to reduce hacking and hopefully discourage others using those hacks..

- GMs Have to be monitoring every major event such as abysal..
- GMs needs to be on forum actively looking for any hackers being reported, then going in game, spectating them to see if they do it infront of you.
- We the community can't be lazy but always be asking for to ban hackers.. You have a part, its 2017.. everyone can get a free recording software and record your daily AA session and report suspected hackers.
- If you see a hacker, EXPOSE them in faction chat! once their name is out there, people will know if they see them ingame and hopefully their recording to catch them, if they do use hacks.

DONT BE THE GUY THAT ASK PEOPLE TO RECORD HACKERS/RECORD DURING MAJOR EVENTS, and not record yourself!

Most "hackers" are just leeches. The reason you see so many hacks as of late is because a bunch of leeches are just using the now public works of a certain ElitePVP poster. Most of the people using the hack have no idea wtf a hex is outside of geometry. So as long as there is at least a system in place, and as long as dumbos keep releasing hacks for leeches or for sale, it can be easily detected and stopped.

Leeching hacks instead of coming up with your own is just a set up to get you banned. The original hack creator gets more experience coding, gets risk free money, while you the leech who downloads it just get disappointed and banned. And the paid hacks are just as bad because most of those sources know its going to get you banned eventually and just prey on people for money. But I mean, if you wanna just give your money away knowing you'll be banned just throw it on the street for random people to find.

It would be safe to say 99% are leeches here, just using the same coding which will get them nicely round up and removed all at once soon as they use it again after hax shield is up.

As long as you can block that certain hack that 99.99 (or a 100 honestly)% of the players are using, the rest of the hackers are so few you can pretty much ignore them

I'm pretty sure anyone who's done cheats (done as in MAKING them) knows that apart from the actual author of the cheat and a few others, the users of those cheats have no idea how anything works.

If they take this long to get a working antihack on, you better hope people that make hacks take even longer to circumvent it.
Or hopefully after this first stage is done the antihack can be tweaked really fast as to block new hacks.
And yeah you're right, it won't fix the issue but it sure will stop 90% if not more of our current hackers, which then makes banning hackers that get reported way easier since there's a lot less reports to sift through.

And as a side note, you don't know how their antihack works as of now, imagine they make it so it detects people going above X m/s, that would instantly kill every speed hack ever, but obviously that has a few downsides like imagine you're falling from a mountain and whatnot.
Point is, we don't know how it works.

Reporting System is not effective again hacks. If there is 0 speedcheck they will move too fast to other users detect them. Or you will have 0,1-1 seconds to detect and make pictures or videos. Example: How can you detect this speed?
Or this:

Yeah thats why we need the shield, since even GM cant be everywhere at once.
