Dragon Masters Race
Attention all dragon riders! Do you believe you have what it takes to soar across the skies in a race against your fellows? Then join in for your chance to prove your ability and get a chance to win your own dragon!
A Dragons Nest Portal will appear at your capital city at 15:15 where the race will begin at 15:30. If you are late you cannot participate this time. (Additional portal in Diamond Shores)
After going through this portal you'll be transported to the peak of the Dwarven fortress in Airain Rock. All participants will be brought into a single raid (If you are not in raid you are not counted as a participant). Once in raid you'll all be given a temporary 1h Dragon mount to attend the event which will also apply a 1h debuff to you. This debuff prevents the use of a number of activities including teleporting; this debuff is manually removed once you have finished the race.
You will need to use the staircases up to the outer wall to summon your new companion.
When all competitors are ready and the race is about to begin a wall will be placed in the opening for all participants to line up against that will count down from 60. Once the wall drops. Fly!
Your flight is to the finish monument in Villanelle. You can go in any path you wish as long as you finish at the monument and get their by flight.
You must land at the monument for your place to be counted. This means you must stay mounted on your dragon when you touch the ground. You may fly into the monument to end the flight and land.
Rewards
There will be 6 winners in total. Each being rewarded a 7d Dragon of respective rarity for the prestige of your victory and credits. (These mounts only have 1 skill which is their flight skill additionally are smaller then normal dragon mounts)
These winners are broken up into 3 tiers of winners. 1 First place winner, 2 Second place winners and 3 Third place winners
1st Place - 2000 Credits and a 7Day Black Dragon
2nd Place - 1500 Credits and a 7Day Green Dragon
3rd Place - 1000 Credits and a 7Day Red Dragon
Rules and Disclaimers
- External interference is prohibited. This includes but is not limited to attacking racers or attempting to boost other members through the use of flight speed increases. (Example - Sky emperor High Speed Glide skill)
- Racers must be in raid the entire time. If you are not in raid or leave raid once the race has begun you are disqualified.
- Racers must fly the entire distance. You cannot travel by any other means or will be disqualified.
- Attempting to fly before the start barrier has dropped or not starting from behind it is a disqualification
- The use of movement speed increases does not affect dragon flight. This includes but is not limited to: Skill - Quickstep and Hero Cloak. The amount of speed you get while flying is random based on the speed skill
- Once the event is ended you must wait near the monument for your debuff to be removed. Move away from the monument to not block view of other racers landing.
- Reward mounts will be given right away. Credit rewards will be sent after.
- Raid requirement limits maximum participants to 100 players
- After race completion you can keep the 1h Race Dragon
