At the Galegarden in Hasla, they believe that once the three continents were ruled by Guaiwo - immortal evil spirits that absorbed color from the world and turned it into a gray abode of sadness, covered with eternal fog. In those days, the lips of people did not know a smile, children did not have fun and rejoice, and the old people could not admire the sunsets and the starry sky.
This went on for many hundreds of years, until one day two strangers came to the Heavenly Village. They turned out to be the mages Meiling and Sarong, brother and sister. Their skin was adorned with a pleasant blush, their clothes were full of bright colors, and ringing laughter filled their hearts with light and warmth. The mages went around the whole village and everyone they touched regained their color and was able to enjoy life. Guaiwo didn't like that.
On the darkest night, the evil spirits gathered all their strength and attacked the village in the hope of killing Meiling and Sarong. However, as they approached, they met only empty streets filled with multi-colored boxes and carts. A moment later, the sky was lit up by thousands of fireworks and fireworks, large and small, which dispelled Guaiwo with their light.
As the legend says, since then this significant date has been celebrated at the Galegarden. Residents dress in colorful clothes, decorate their homes with lanterns, and at midnight they start the biggest fireworks show to commemorate the return of color to their lives. They called this holiday the Shadowguard Festival.

To participate in the festival visit Galegarden in Hasla.
To reach festival location faster use festival gates located in Austera, Marianople, Diamond Shores or Growlgate Isle.
Festival workers will offer you 14 quests.
To receive them you should have at least 55+ level.
Some quests are connected, so you’ll not be able to complete the next one without finishing the previous one.
Taemin will ask you to decorate the festival place.
Marius Krolm will request you to collect Gunpowder Ore from the mountains nearby.
Master Chef Jingua will need you to prepare food for the festival guests.
You may also want to try delicious Shadowgard Fireworks Famous Soup yourself as well.
Masahiro will need you to protect Honey Dye Collector from the Bees.
A tip: Quest is better to complete in a party or as a healer.
Dominic will provide you with a cargo that needs to be urgently delivered.
A tip: make sure not to jump off the quest steambike, otherwise, quest will fail. Note, cargo is high explosive, so steambike is in danger. If it starts overheating and burning, you’ll have only a few seconds to lever fans. So, keep an eye on the steambike buff and use required lever skill before buff ends. Otherwise, steambike will explode and quest fail.
Harumi will offer you to watch the Great Fireworks.
The Great Fireworks take place every midnight in-game time.
A tip: make sure to watch fireworks from the Platform For Spectators nearby!
