This is a playstyle that was created on purpose. Just because its a playstyle you may not like or that annoys you doesnt mean that it should be eradicated or taxed.
I'm not annoyed by purple pirating, my entire gameplay revolves around it in a way. I also don't run packs so it doesn't impact me. I'd like to think I'm speaking for the people voting yes on the other poll, and finding an alternative to just saying 1 kill = wanted or even 3 kills = wanted, because I think that's a poor implementation of the infamy system
 
Wrong simply because players that grow mats and larders can grow them twice as fast here, yet paying the same tax as live so for the packs they lose, and (I lose whole ships too) is negligible compared to the amount that they can hand in. If draughts end up costing 3k-6k or 7.5k It will simply mean the game will change significantly in favour of players who want pve and war only. Those that have a green pirate playstyle will simply evaluate whether this game will be to boring to continue.
You're not taking into account the effort it takes to stage packs for players. Basically, more packs means more time dedicated to moving them, which means more time wasted for that player when they lose the packs. I'm advocating for the people who are losing their days waiting for larders, their 15m cart ride to stage them, and another 10m merch run to 5 minutes of effort from a green pirate.
 
Who cares what the cost of them were on live. I have deep enough pockets to not care. It just seems to be attacking a particular playstyle that some people i know enjoy. I rarely even turn in packs i steal. I let others take them. Its more of the content for me. But now its going to cost me even more to enjoy the same game content. This i find to be bullshit. Its a shady way to try to quell the green pirating that is going on.

I think anything high than 3k honor cost on a draught is rediculous. As it stands they're not even that much gold.

The idea is that it's costing you pennies to the dollar in comparison to the time commitment the person you're stealing from is investing.

Agreed, but has anyone you've ever met had to check to see if they have enough draughts before going in to steal packs? I feel like that was intended for the game as well.

Because it was acceptable to me on live. This was something I didn't feel needed any change.
 
The ratio that was on live worked at its highest population, when they changed it there (by increase of infamy) it had disastrious effect, changing it here by cost of draughts will be even worse.

If you're getting so many crime points, you're either:

1. making a lot of money to compensate for the draught cost anyway, or

2. bad, and should probably stop trying to steal ships for now

so I don't see how that's a problem

Who said I get my infamy from pirating? Your jumping to conclusions, in fact this whole thing is utter horseshit,. Private server get 4x labour get growth time reduced by half, oh and lets fuck over anyone who wants to be a green pirate or fight greens for fun. Making the assumption that every one who kills greens is making a lot of gold out of it, is simply speculation.
 
Also dont forget if you try to hand packs in and your ship gets blown up on the beach, and the guy that blew it up runs away but his friends start handing your packs in, if you purple to try and stop them you will be hit by te same cost. This will be the way pirating happens if this goes through
 
So lets just eradicate green pirating all together... lets see how this works out... I don't see how taking a major PvP aspect of a PvP game could hurt anything. It sure didn't hurt the last attempt. and just so you know.. I rarely green pirate. I don't like taking content from people just because I don't agree with it. I just hate to see the beginning of what was done last time. I love this game, would hate to see a repeat of Live

This coming from someone so jaded about her poor packs getting taken that they have to raise taxes on the ones doing it so they don't get their feeling hurt. its ok Lillis. I still love you. If you ever need a shoulder to cry on, I got one for you. Ill even wear the same shirt everytime to gather all the salt.

I don't think green pirating should cease to exist, I just think it should be more punishing than it is right now. I wasn't even thinking about how this nerf would affect "purple for fun" people, because, frankly, I just don't care at all about those. If it affects them negatively because of this, then idc.

This is exactly the point im making. You don't care about how you impact someone elses game play, then why should anyone care about yours. why raise the cost against anyone playing green pirates. just because it don't impact you. Maybe we should raise the mats cost of packs. or lower the gold/resources received from packs. would have the same impact by making it not worth it to green pirates. You wouldn't like that option because it effects your game play.
