Questions on erenor progression

Today I made my first erenor piece and I am not sure how to upgrade it. The piece is a leather cap at arcane level. When I did a few dungeons, I got a couple of arcane pieces from the bosses and I was not able to use the gear from the greater or the reg dungeons. Even though in the folio under crafted equipment it said "dungeons". I can't use hiram, soulforged, or crafted gear either. Does the gear have to be they same type where I can only upgrade a leather cap with another leather cap? How do you upgrade erenor gear?

nm I found my answer. you have to feed the gear with the same kind. So a cap with a another cap and so on.

ye if I remember this right it might change in a future patch to be generic, not sure tho.

That may be true but he still made an Erenor club really early on in 3.5 so even he knows what he's talking about
