The Christmas Reindeer are for show only =(

The white reindeer should be the same speed as the brown.

It's beyond weird they're not the same.
 
I'd really like it if the reindeer were all the same 11.5 speed, black/white ones are not very rewarding to get, especially since they are bound.

AND
You cannot equip the Rudolph pet gear to the brown reindeer. Please fix this. It says "Can only be equipped on Reindeer" when I try to equip it to my Brown Reindeer.

Reply was provided in another thread, but will repeat it here.

Raindeers will be unbounded with a server re-start.

Brown Raindeer in the shop is different from the Brown Raindeer in the box; so the Raindeer will not be removed from the shop. The armor that is coming in the box with Brown Raindeer can be used on the Brown Raindeer from the box only, not on the one from the shop.

Each Brown Raindeer has it's own advantage - the one from shop is faster; the one from box can be equipped with items from the box, so looks a bit prettier.
 
That's pretty disappointing. I'm not going to use a 10m/s mount when I have an 11.5 m/s mount, and I can't use the awesome new armor for it, nor am I willing to pay 3000 credits for a slower version of the mount to use the gear. I was so jazzed about getting a black/white reindeer too :( and of course because they were bound I opened them already.

Confirmation. The Reindeer from the boxes are just for show and unusable by any serious player in the field. RIP. Guess I have something to AFK on when I am in town=D Not only is the mount worse, the armor is worse too. Its just purely for looks.
 
When will be the restart and the wrapped reindeer I drop today will be also unbounded in my inventory ? Thx for answer
