Version check error!

Help me please,
tried
deleting C:\ArcheRage\Documents things
uninstall then reinstall even restarted my PC
pressed that Repair button, then nothing happen.
Still geting this error.
 
- Working Solution (as of 2017-11-30) -

It's a fresh and clean version installed today, an hour ago by me.

If it's not allowed to upload such files, then please delete this post. Anyway, hope it can help and here it is. I'll tag it with a virus scan too just because.

Not sure why, could be two reasons: You are putting it in the wrong place or there has been an update and the "client.version" file is outdated. But even if it was, then it would just patch for you to the latest.

Could you show a screenshot of where you're putting this file along with teh directory?

I'm still using the one I uploaded, so not sure why it won't work for you. This could be a completely different problem but in similiar area.

Just making sure, probably not the reason but are you running the patcher as admin?

yes, I even uninstalled my antivirus and tried to install the archeage, and still it did not work
 
I could easily troubleshoot this in TeamViewer for you. But I'm not an admin nor a moderator, just a normal player. I will leave the admins to help you with this one, I'm sorry. Hope you will get it fixed soon.
