Hi!
Aquafarms are currently only used to grow corals, pearls, and some octopus fish.
It would be nice if there was a way to have Aquaculture Aged Packs, similar to the aged packs that are on land farms. This would be a nice boost to players who can only use Aquafarms due to land shortage, and also provide a use for some of the Aquafarm items that don't currently have a use.
Right now, there is an item for aquafarms "Bamboo Trap" that is the same size as an aging larder. This could be the default graphic for the aged pack. http://archeagedatabase.net/us/item/4867/
The Bamboo Trap produces 3 tiers of Fish: Crayfish, Starfish, and Red Octopus. Tese could be the basis for an Aged Pack.
As with other Aged Packs, they can only be produced in Areas with a Tradepack bench: Sand deep, Two Crowns, Solzreed - Ynsytere, Villanelle, Solis Headlands
Suggested packs: (Uses Fishing proficiency, as Husbandry is used on Land Packs)
Aged Gumbo Stew
- 100 Crayfish
- 50 Tomato
Aged Octopus Sushi
- 10 Red Octopus
- 50 Rice
Aged Sparkling Starfish
- 50 Starfish
- 100 Sparkling Shell Dust
Trade-in Value could be about the same price as a Fertilizer pack or the regular Aged pack price, whatever is more balanced.
The idea is to create more demand for Aquafarming, as its main use now is to provide Corals & Pearls for potions and handicrafts. Since there is more Aquafarm land available than other types of land, and aquafarm real estate tends to be lower than mainland, it could serve as an ease-of-entry to new players trying to enter the game and make money; as well as provide something uniquely new to ArcheAge that veteran players can also enjoy.
