Guild are able to dominate the server and stay ahead because of content that give massive amounts of gold per day. The current Delphinad Ghost Ships give 3k gold per kill, with 6 spawns. This translates to 18k gold per day. This is an absurd amount.
On the original game, guilds were able to completely dominate any opposition and stay on top forever with this gold income. The one thing Trion did right in the 3.0 was reduce the amount of gold the ships give, and take out 3 of the ships.
Having dgs on a set time, with all three spawning at the same times allows other guilds to outplay one another and keep one guild from controlling all 3 at the same time. In addition to this, reducing the gold to lets say, 6.3k per day, or 2.1k per ship kill would make sure that guilds that control it dont have a huge advantage over the rest of the player base.
