Game is not loading for me

I get to the ascension splash art and it stops halfway through and never finishes loading. Ive played it a few times already and nothing has changed on my end. Any help from anyone having the same problem?

i had this exact problem on trions server years ago. i had to deactivate windows defender or what its called / create an exception for it.

Try creating a firewall exception for the game, disabling antivirus, and if neither of those work, try creating a new character and logging in. If that new character logs in successfully but yours does not, it's a problem on the character itself.
