This is a 3.0 to 4.0 ArcheAge progression comparision to ArcheRage's actual situation, and how we can improve it/why we need those improvements.
I will add my comment about why we would need this in italic.

So, starting with 3.0 to 3.5:

GENERAL:
-Conflict isn’t limited to PvP anymore! Now zones can move through conflict via player kills, NPC monster kills, and through quest completions. Now you’ll see more zones in peace, and more times when you can take advantage of the spoils of war.
If we have the possibility to profit with war zones, with the 100% drop rate, we should have an option to level the conflict level in the zone, without having a friend log a red character and kill him for 4 straight hours to get the 300ish player death count so it goes to war. Killing mobs is enough for a map to get "dangerous". An explanation why? Its cause "there is a dangerous killer in the zone killing all animals, its dangerous here". See? Not a bad reason to use this RN.

-Celebration Time: You may now open Worldgates while under Rebirth Trauma.
The limitation of not getting near bosses is already limiting. And getting camped for 5 mins while avoiding getting dragged out of the nui isnt something quite pleasant.

WORLD:
-Halcyona’s Battle of the Golden Plains, and the Gold Trader events have been removed from the daily schedule window. Halcyona now activates the event based on moving into War, and the Gold Trader has been removed.
This is incredible. Only 2 halcy a day is REALLY limiting. Some people cant participate cause they are working/studying/sleeping at that time. We need to put MORE warrior medals in the game. THIS IS A PRIVATE SERVER, I SHOULDNT BE TRYHARDING LIKE THE ORIGINAL ONE TO GET WARRIOR MEDALS. Even they realized that and put that halcy every time the zone moves to war. (Ill get in to the warrior medal thing after)

-The honor awarded as a part of Crimson and Grimghast Rifts has been improved:
  • Crimson Rift Stage 1 was increased from 50 to 200 Honor.
  • Crimson Rift Stage 2 was increased from 150 to 300 Honor.
  • Crimson Rift Stage 3 was increased from 150 to 700 Honor.
  • Grimghast Rift Stage 1 was increased from 100 to 400 Honor.
  • Grimghast Stage 2 was increased from 400 to 800 Honor.
Again, this is a private server, we have 4x honor, but, this is a PVE part of the game. Some people dont like PVP in arenas, so, they can benefit from that, and so do the normal player.

-Mistsong Summit: Taris now takes Melee Damage!
Because why not?

QUESTS:
-Now Crimson Rift Quests 1-3 are auto-completed when players accomplish the goal.
  • Helping the War Effort
  • Halting the Crimson Tide 1
  • Halting the Crimson Tide 2
  • Crimson Rift Rank 1
  • Crimson Rift Rank 2
  • Crimson Rift Rank 3
This is also good for us. There is no need to go back to the quest, just let us go straight bunker after CR/GR.

TRADING:

-The time it takes to receive rewards has been reduced from 22 hours to 8 hours.
The faster you get the money, the faster you heat the economy. The amount recived is still the same, but its better than having to invest all that gold only to recive 22h later with 5% interest.

REGRADING AND CRAFTING:
  • Reduced the amount of Warrior’s Medals to create Delphinad cloaks from 500 to 300.
  • Reduced the amount of Warrior’s Medals to create Ayanad cloaks from 800 to 500.
Again, this is XL Games realizing some players have no time to do warrior medal stuff all the time. Those medals are a pain in the ass.

VOCATION RELATED:
  • Archeum Trees now offer 30% more Archeum per harvest.
  • Regrade Braziers now offer more Regrade Gems.
Lets make water great again!

ITEMS:
  • Unidentified Weapon/Armor drop rates in Auroria have been increased.
  • Increased the drop rate of the Book of Auroria from the Haunted Chest.
  • Unidentified equipment can now be sold to Merchants for a small amount of gold.
We are having some issues with the Lacerny prof. This should make it better, since we have no 230k buff for the prof.

-War Drum: Now the War Drum does not disappear. (Used to have a 30-minute duration, the duration has been removed.)
Its strange that you might craft a War Drum, and then, it disapears. Did it got destroyed by the use?

So, since now, we had some improvements on the Warrior Medals system, a buff on honor, and a Lacerny ajust. Nothing that isnt good for the players.

Now, for 4.0:

GENERAL:

  • Removed the auto-raid functionality from Wartime zones, including: Reedwind, Whalesong Harmor, Sanddepp, Rookborne Basin, Aegis Island, Karkasse Ridgelands, Cinderstone Moor, Ynystere, Hellswamp, Windscour Savannah, Perinoor Ruins, Hasla, Golden Ruins.
This is quite a pain in the ass, because if you leave the map, people still would join your raid.
  • Arenas now feature an anti-AFK system. Players who AFK for too long in an arena may be removed from the match and banned from re-entering for a specific amount of time. The more times you are caught AFKing, the longer the penalty becomes, reaching a maximum of 24 hours. Players who are also away at the end of an Arena will no longer obtain rewards.
This is also a must, since a lot of players just AFK in arena, resulting in a not pleasant 2v3 fight, or 1v0.

So, in general, those were an improvement to the game. And were made because THE GAME NEEDED THEM.
We now need them too. This game isnt suposed to be LIKE the original. We are suposed to be better. If i have to suffer/tryhard here just like the original, well. Its better to be there then.
Some other improvements that need to be done/think about:

FISHING:
Increase fish price 10%;
Remove pufferfish;
Add more spots in the world;~

Also, please dont answer with "not possible, thanks"; Let us see what is and what isnt. And why not implement those.

These are not possible changes currently. As Staff have stated before, changes from future versions of archeage will not happen the server is at the same stage.
Regarding the changes not affected by game version.
Fishing: any changes to fishing are still being debated though through our records players are making exceptional amounts of gold, fishing rewards are based of proficiency. Value of fish will not be raised though more sport spots may be added.
Larceny: Larceny is in an ok spot, while it is not as strong as it was in 2.9 Larceny was never meant to be one of the proficiencies you would max out, it was meant to be a secondary income which right now it does that role, larceny again is based on proficiency level, the higher the level, the more chance of certain drops like regrade charms. You can already farm every purse type bar queens with a 100% drop rate (not including dungeons, they have a static drop of a purse every time)
And you can get that drop rate for queens to 100%. Larceny related to the purses alone will receive no changes.
regarding Honor the server has 2x honor rates on everything. It is very easy to farm honor although not instantly, those who not seek honor based events will not get honor as quickly. The same is for warriors medals. Though for those just do your resource donation and that is at least 5 medals per day. Yes it is slow and tedious, but is the point of them, a separate resource that you have to work up slowly in order to get further

WoW just WoW, this server has improved this version of AA more than Trino/XL did since 1.2 LOL and no in the current trade system packs are totally fine at 22hrs, at official was reduced simply because the 3.5 trade system was such a disaster that they needed something to try to boost certain packs and spoiler alert, didn't work outside making bots really happy and permanent set every decent pack route in 70%.

If you don't like it go back to trino we have enough whiner babies looking for instant gratification already
 
yeah current model of this server rn is designed so rich get richer n people who dont pay get smashed by whales lol.

The RNG is actually easier than Trino's, The labor is much more abundant than Trino, Honor is at minimum 2x than Trino, Land is plentiful still, crops grows hella lot faster than Trino, Even the RNG boxes have waaaaay better chances than Trino, what the hell more do you want? a 1 cent magic box that in 1 try drop a full legendary ayanad set?

If staff make this server easier it will die because everyone will be running in mythic ayanad 2 weeks later LOL, stop being lazy and stop expecting you are gonna get 8k GS playing 20m a weeks.

Server is already dead, by the market, by the arena you can already see this. You are conformed and fan boy of the staff soon has no way to discuss something with you.

Still more populated than most legacy official servers but again if it is dead just go somewhere else instead that way you stop wasting your and everybody's time

how is wanting good changes a waste of peoples time o.o sure honor is doubled but.. Arena q pops take 20 minutes each if not at prime time and even then its still quite long. Content wise its only 2 sides fighting instead of 4-5 + its pirates vs player nation, outside of pvp this server isn't fun to play on but i guess thats just archeage in general

1.) I wasn't complaining about the changes proposed but the specific response of the whinner that expect shit just have to happen because he wants to and spreading FUD because he got salty.

2.) those changes aren't bad but the chance of getting most of them right now are 0% because our client are 3.0 not 3.5 hence we miss lot of stuff needed for it to work correctly in many cases and in other simple make no sense because those were fixing a problem don't exist here yet. like the trade run pack timers.

3.) Archerage is already way easier than official and I sincerely don't think make it even easier will help because then people will leave because is too easy, I agree with you something must be done to bring quality players because this game was never designed for casuals to start with and sure some of the mentioned changes could help in that regard, also maybe some custom code from the staff but again many lack support for it at 3.0 and the staff has said so repeatedly, so we will have to wait until 3.5+ archerage is cooked

4.) Also population should improve in the near future given many went to mess online and the fresh start at trino should be dead very soon
 
Do you really think that time for receiving delivery is set by the game version? They have an emulator, this team has a coder so this would be simple for them to modify. Apparently you've never had any experience with gaming servers. lul

From the beginning this staff proved difficult to make necessary changes, even they making polls and when the option that won did not please them they did not apply.

1.) Never said that, I said it make no sense in this version and that it was implemented on NA/EU because they were trying to fix the charcoal mess in 3.5 and beyond. if you are trying to make a point at least try to quote right

2.) the fact you really want a change doesn't mean it will be good or that to should be done because on this side we don't have enough data to know for sure it won't break something else, popular request doesn't equal automatically that is right, also we did get a bunch of changes that were doable so is not like staff have never changed anything like you imply.

3.) Having a coder doesn't automagically imply they can do everything(I wish tho) because like a change could require a simple variable tuning could also require change the logic of 3 million LoC and have a huge probability of introducing nasty bugs and breakages, so I understand because I'm not 12 that some times is better not to poke the bear to please some users because the downfall could be worse and since I don't have the source code I cannot make ridiculously bold statements like "they should do this because they have a coder" because I cannot know what those changes could imply in the big picture and since so far the staff has proved they are decent at their job I choose to trust their expertise on technical matters when they reject certain type of changes.

Well we are not arguing to start with, you are simply trying to force your opinion on me regardless of any rationalization and getting salty calling me fanboy(honestly I cannot care less, so keep at it)

is call counterpoint and is usually used in rational conversations but whatever.

Never said was perfect again I've said "more populated than legacy servers" and population always drop with new MMO launches(bless online), seriously try to read/quote properly or change your translation application at least because is hard to argue when you completely change what I post into what you wanna to read from it, we are hitting a wall here.
