This is a 3.0 to 4.0 ArcheAge progression comparision to ArcheRage's actual situation, and how we can improve it/why we need those improvements.
I will add my comment about why we would need this in italic.

So, starting with 3.0 to 3.5:
GENERAL:
-Conflict isn’t limited to PvP anymore! Now zones can move through conflict via player kills, NPC monster kills, and through quest completions. Now you’ll see more zones in peace, and more times when you can take advantage of the spoils of war.
If we have the possibility to profit with war zones, with the 100% drop rate, we should have an option to level the conflict level in the zone, without having a friend log a red character and kill him for 4 straight hours to get the 300ish player death count so it goes to war. Killing mobs is enough for a map to get "dangerous". An explanation why? Its cause "there is a dangerous killer in the zone killing all animals, its dangerous here". See? Not a bad reason to use this RN.
-Celebration Time: You may now open Worldgates while under Rebirth Trauma.
The limitation of not getting near bosses is already limiting. And getting camped for 5 mins while avoiding getting dragged out of the nui isnt something quite pleasant.
WORLD:
-Halcyona’s Battle of the Golden Plains, and the Gold Trader events have been removed from the daily schedule window. Halcyona now activates the event based on moving into War, and the Gold Trader has been removed.
This is incredible. Only 2 halcy a day is REALLY limiting. Some people cant participate cause they are working/studying/sleeping at that time. We need to put MORE warrior medals in the game. THIS IS A PRIVATE SERVER, I SHOULDNT BE TRYHARDING LIKE THE ORIGINAL ONE TO GET WARRIOR MEDALS. Even they realized that and put that halcy every time the zone moves to war. (Ill get in to the warrior medal thing after)
-The honor awarded as a part of Crimson and Grimghast Rifts has been improved:
-Mistsong Summit: Taris now takes Melee Damage!
Because why not?
QUESTS:
-Now Crimson Rift Quests 1-3 are auto-completed when players accomplish the goal.
TRADING:
-The time it takes to receive rewards has been reduced from 22 hours to 8 hours.
The faster you get the money, the faster you heat the economy. The amount recived is still the same, but its better than having to invest all that gold only to recive 22h later with 5% interest.
REGRADING AND CRAFTING:
VOCATION RELATED:
ITEMS:
-War Drum: Now the War Drum does not disappear. (Used to have a 30-minute duration, the duration has been removed.)
Its strange that you might craft a War Drum, and then, it disapears. Did it got destroyed by the use?

So, since now, we had some improvements on the Warrior Medals system, a buff on honor, and a Lacerny ajust. Nothing that isnt good for the players.
Now, for 4.0:
GENERAL:

So, in general, those were an improvement to the game. And were made because THE GAME NEEDED THEM.
We now need them too. This game isnt suposed to be LIKE the original. We are suposed to be better. If i have to suffer/tryhard here just like the original, well. Its better to be there then.
Some other improvements that need to be done/think about:
FISHING:
Increase fish price 10%;
Remove pufferfish;
Add more spots in the world;~
Also, please dont answer with "not possible, thanks"; Let us see what is and what isnt. And why not implement those.

- Crimson Rift Stage 1 was increased from 50 to 200 Honor.
- Crimson Rift Stage 2 was increased from 150 to 300 Honor.
- Crimson Rift Stage 3 was increased from 150 to 700 Honor.
- Grimghast Rift Stage 1 was increased from 100 to 400 Honor.
- Grimghast Stage 2 was increased from 400 to 800 Honor.

ITEMS:
- Unidentified Weapon/Armor drop rates in Auroria have been increased.
- Increased the drop rate of the Book of Auroria from the Haunted Chest.
- Unidentified equipment can now be sold to Merchants for a small amount of gold.

- Removed the auto-raid functionality from Wartime zones, including: Reedwind, Whalesong Harmor, Sanddepp, Rookborne Basin, Aegis Island, Karkasse Ridgelands, Cinderstone Moor, Ynystere, Hellswamp, Windscour Savannah, Perinoor Ruins, Hasla, Golden Ruins.
- Arenas now feature an anti-AFK system. Players who AFK for too long in an arena may be removed from the match and banned from re-entering for a specific amount of time. The more times you are caught AFKing, the longer the penalty becomes, reaching a maximum of 24 hours. Players who are also away at the end of an Arena will no longer obtain rewards.
