The current looped system that has been made[Economy][rant]

I have been here for quite awhile and have noticed that there's an issue with our economy and how it directly impacts gameplay. Firstly, i would like to point out that credit prices are becoming an issue to the general population. Credits can be bought in bulk for a cheap price and instantly equips you with gold nearing 30,000. Now the reason why this is an issue is because people don't just play the game solely for pvp and would like a breathing space to progress on their own, explore the various professions and many more but are forced to having to deal with people who has been geared to the grim and having nothing else to do but to constantly seek pvp opportunities. Now I know this might sound like i'm whining but this opinion of mine is just of concern for the server. As credit rises and more people were to donate to progress, they would have come to a realization that there isn't anything much to do besides looking for opportunities to fight as most of the progressive parts to improving for the better is gone. As of recent, you have introduced the gearing supporter pack but this isn't enough to bridge the gap between mid-game players and the newbies who has come. In this case, the feeling i get of the current situation is that you are using this opportunity to further promote pay to win aspect of this game by limiting the events that comes and pushing out rng boxes on a more frequent basis. I hope something can be done to keep it fun, light-hearted and fair for all players whenever possible. There is much to elaborate on in my post but i'm just posting here to rant.

The support pack is not meant to bridge a gap between high and low gear players. It is a pack of free gear that gets you started. High gs players jumping you is something you can easily avoid happening.

Limiting the number of events? We always have events running. They're also events, not money making schemes. They're for fun.
Credit boxes have not changed ever. The current box is switched out every week for a new one. But currently with the halloween event we decided that all boutique additions would last one month instead. There's no pushing a p2w agenda

You're right about it being gears that helps us get started. As for limiting the number of events, what I meant to say was that in the previous month or so, there was this daru cauldron event that helped people get up on their feet and actually get into the game. I appreciate events like that where we're put on a pace where we can follow the current economy. I joined on the day before it ended and sadly couldn't take advantage of that. The events that are implemented in the game sounds fun in theory but in practice, it is hard for me to participate in it as there's green pirates waiting to gank me the moment I reach the danger zone. Getting killed taking 1 pack at a time and with escort isn't fun either. I know that these events were put in place to promote server activity but I kinda wished there was something that's being catered to newcomers. Personally, I don't really like free handouts but when it comes to main professions, the only thing that really let's you see progress is trade run. Sure I could do a multitude of other things like farming or watching the ah but i hate it. I wanted to do coinpurses but everyone has been saying its a dead profession and baobabs are better in terms of time put in and effort. This server has a decent rate but when it comes to things that matters, it only provides you afew options. About the p2w agenda, I have a 50/50 take on it. Most of the items put out are bunbled with regrade-related items. The server promotes pvp activity. The boxes are filled with regrade-related items. If it doesn't look like p2w, then I don't know what to call it. Anyways, I'm somewhat rooting for this server but I hope that the implemented system events aren't revolved around just trade runs.

I suggest you join an active guild. Green Pirating will always be there... if you don't want your shit jacked then run as a larger group, or stay in safe zones for your runs. It's a PvP game and people wont stop PvPing on the water just because you're low GS.

I'm okay with it but not when the differences is 2-3k higher. Even if i brought my friends they would just call for more and it would be a fight that is nearly impossible to win. I practice with various classes mostly of ccs but yeahs, its useless against multiple enemies with cloth reduction and passives. I'm in a small active guild as of the moment and if i were to stay in safe zones to run, that would take me too long to gear up to participate in main events lol.(Here is when you have to swipe to participate in events) And I was talking about land runs. I want to pvp and have fun, but if i had to resort to safe zone runs or farming and watching ah i think im going to quit this server.

Well i hope you don't leave but nothing will change on the server. People will kill anyone and everyone to make themselves feel better than others then shit talk about it. Happened to me plenty i'm a 2 hit for a DR cause i'm dumb and went Archer. Just got to deal with it or get a bigger group... with Skull Knights...

There is so many things that archerage can do that helps beginners but at the same time not affect the longevity of this server. We could always have safe zone events for newbies or people who simply don't stand a chance in danger zones. We could have races. A pet battle. Diving for treasures. What made archeage beautiful was the sandboxy openworld it was. But since gears have been improved and the differences can be night and day, forcing people to be culled in the open world just hurts the server. We need training wheels. Where it would help people move forward or have fun in their own safe spaces.

There are festivals that make entire zones peace for about a month... Also if you make the safe zones more profitable than dangerous ones it will kill the server. The main thing about dangerous zones being more profitable is BECAUSE OF THE DANGER. As i said before there are safe zones that get you gold. You don't have to go into any danger zone at all if you want to potato farm. and ArcheRage has done ALOT to help new players catch up including the support package you can apply for in a ticket.

You're missing my point. I don't mean for it to be buffed up to where it can be on par with danger zone rewards. Just something for people since alts aren't allowed anyways. If we want a fun and non-toxic environment just like what the rules and regulations imply, then I think we need changes for the better. Buff larceny, fishing and any other main professions so that we have options. It doesn't need to be like overseas trade runs just something thats worth spending your time on.

?? Non-toxic being....??? Not getting killed? Not getting jumped by green pirates? I'm very confused given the fun and non-toxic environment you appear to be idealising already is in place; players that are exceptionally offensive are very quickly chat banned or temporarily game banned upon reporting. The administrators does well at monitoring and actioning reports and as a result we already have a safe playing environment.
